Giving Tree
Thank you for your generosity in giving to local families through the CrossPointe Giving Tree - Way to Go, CrossPointe! Together we have provided hope and met the needs of local families. Two members stories below:

"We left CrossPointe on Sunday and went to deliver to a single dad with young kids . We pulled up to his house, knocked on the door, and the cutest little girl answered with her brother to the side of the door. She gave me a huge smile and asked us to come in. We told her we were here to see her dad and she ran up to get him. The 10 yr old son informed us that today was his birthday! Dad arrived and we all introduced yourself and he said he would meet us at the garage. My husband told him we just learned from his son it was his birthday today and we had a cool item in the back of the van he could consider giving him - a new bike! He was very thankful and overwhelmed. We loaded all the gifts in the garage and asked if we could pray with him. He said yes, and we had an incredible sweet time in prayer. I handed him a Bible and the CrossPointe note card, we shook hands, and asked him to join us for our Christmas Eve service and to please sit with us! The man said "God Bless you and thank you"! What an honor and privilege, and such a need this single dad had! Praise Jesus we could be His hands and Feet! Please pray with us for him and that he will feel comfortable to join us on Christmas Eve!"

"It was very hard to communicate with this one family - I called 4 separate times. Every time I said hello she would say she did not speak English and would very politely hang up the receiver. On Dec 20th I was able to get the home address and communicate with her bi-lingual neighbor. My husband and I arrived at the first home where a single Mom lives with her 3 children. They were so welcoming, and so surprised by our gifts and time we spent with them. Her children were so beautiful and kind and very well-behaved. We had a sweet time of prayer with all the children as we held hands. We left her with a Bible and asked her to sit with us on Christmas Eve service. She was so grateful and accepted our Bible and invitation. My heart was so blessed when she and her 3 children walked into the Candlelight service Dec 24th. She then agreed to come with us to her friends home close by who did not speak English. This beautiful woman lived with 9 people in a 2 bedroom home. Tears filled her eyes as we came in the door with bags of gifts and toys! She was so overwhelmed and so thankful. My husband asked permission to pray with them and the neighbor we had just delivered to translated every sentence my husband prayed. We all held hands and I presented their family with a Bible too. We extended an invitation to her to sit with us on Christmas Eve. My greatest joy was seeing this family of 9 and her friend above, all join us and sit with us on Christmas Eve. Even though Mom did not know English she smiled at us and thanked us as we were elbow to elbow singing about our Savior Jesus! When our Children's Ministry Director read the Children's Christmas story I had tears in my eyes watching 9 children move forward we served from the CrossPointe Tree. This is what Christmas is all about! May Jesus continue to bless our new friends!"
