You are WELCOME here. We
don't care where you've been (we've been there too). We
care where you are going. CrossPointe Church is not a place for perfect people.
We are a place where imperfect people come together to worship
the perfect God - letting Him work
through our lives. He changes us from the inside out. You will find real people with real joys and hurts
sharing life together. We enjoy
intimate small groups where we can be transparent - groups
where we are loved as we allow God to change us, enabling
us to live as Christ intended. Together, we're finding a freedom
we've always dreamed of,
but never imagined could be ours. Join us and experience
the journey - into the open arms of a loving God.
These are just words on a page unless you
take that first small step of faith and try us out. See if
we are different. In the meantime, we'll try to answer some of
your questions...

What should I expect at CrossPointe
Church?
CrossPointe is a relaxed Northwest church. Don't feel obligated
to dress up, but you are certainly free to do that if you
desire. You will see a variety here and we value that. You will find friendly greeters in the parking lot and at the
doors who can direct you, answers questions, and put the first
touch of a smile on your day.Oh, and make sure you ask them
to direct you to the Pointe Café and try a complimentary
latte on your first visit! |
 |
What do you believe?
We are here to worship and bring glory to God the
Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We worship
Jesus Christ, teach and encourage each other to follow
Him. We teach eternal biblical truths that free us
to live the lives God intends for us. More information on our specific beliefs
may be found on our
beliefs page. |
 |
When are your services?
Our regular Sunday service is at 10:30 am and we also have
childcare during that time. Adult small groups,
youth and grade school classes are at 9:00 am and we
would love for you to join us. Our calendar is always up to
date with specifics. |
 |
What are your worship services
like?
Our services are a mix of contemporary and traditional
music (we value music that honors God and lifts the
spirit). We have hearing
assistance equipment for those who might need it. You will find bibles in the seats and Rick will
call out the page number so you won't have to worry
about where Ezekiel is. We won't embarrass you or ask
you to identify yourself. You can try us out without
apprehension - we believe you will find us to be the
family you've been searching for. |
 |
Where are you located?
CrossPointe church is at the corner of NE 195th and 104th Ave NE
in Bothell, Washington. Specific
directions are available as well as
campus maps for once you get here
(but don't forget to ask anyone if you need help!) |
 |
What do you offer for my kids?
We love children at CrossPointe! We have a great
children's program catering to the
needs of newborns through high school
students.
Our preschool ministry (birth – Kindergarten) operates
during both services. Your preschoolers will be taught
age-appropriate biblical truths in a loving and fun
environment. Our grade school ministry (1st
– 6th grades) offers
children’s choir (11:15) and
teaching
during the 10:00 hour. Our student ministry (7th
– 12th grades) offers Sunday School during
the 10:00 hour as well. |

What about your logo?
Our desire is to truly have Jesus Christ honored in
everything we do. We are Jesus’ hands and feet and we’ve chosen
a historical Christian icon, the Chi-Rho, to be the centerpiece
of our new symbol. The Chi and the Rho are the first two Greek
letters in the name “Christ.” Therefore, the Chi-Rho represents
Jesus and placing it at the center of the logo symbolizes His
centrality within our church. Historically, Constantine the
great fought under the banner of the Chi-Rho when he officially
legalized Christianity. As we reach out to our community, it
will be our banner as well.
A little historical background:
In
312 Constantine (First Christian Emperor of Rome, 285-337) was about to lead his army in a battle that
would change the world. The soldiers of his enemy Maxentius
faced him at the Milvian Bridge outside Rome. The winner would
become the Roman Emperor. Constantine was a pagan who worshipped
the sun, and he was worried about the coming battle. He says he
started to pray to the "Supreme God" for help. There was a sign in the sky "above the sun" and with it the
words "conquer by this". That night in a dream he said he saw
Jesus telling him to use the chi-rho sign "as a safeguard in all
battles". Constantine ordered it to be put on his soldier's
shields - and won the battle. The symbol is made of the first
two letters of 'Christ' in Greek - chi (X) and rho (P). |
