Glasses
for Guatemala
Please consider donating your old prescription glasses and any
sunglasses to the poor Mayan population of Guatemala. These
people are so grateful for anything we can give them. The
deadline for contribution is Sunday, February 19, to allow time
for sorting and packing. Put them in the blue box on the
missions display to the left of the main auditorium doors.

Wednesday
Bible Studies
Have you ever had feelings of discouragement, inadequacy,
worthlessness, or doubt regarding God's goodness/love for you?
Do you live under a cloud of condemnation, depression, or
thoughts of suicide? Do you have issues with anger, bitterness,
or unforgiveness? Have you been treated badly for doing the
things of God? We live in the midst of spiritual combat and your
enemy, the devil, is dangerous, destructive, and determined to
keep you from growing in the Lord and effectively serving God.
Learn about Spiritual Warfare regarding these issues, so you can
live the life God desires for you. The (no homework Required)
Precept Ministries book is $8.00. The class is only six weeks
and goes from January 11 to February 15. Choose from two classes
offered: Women's Bible Study: 9:00 - 10:30 AM, or Men and
Women's Bible Study: 6:30 - 8:00 PM. Register at
office@crosspte.org or
425-486-7103.

Nursery
and Preschool Teachers Needed
Consider working one Sunday a month with the preschoolers
during the worship time at 10:30am. Praise God we are increasing
in numbers and need to open another room for our youngest
children (babies - 2 years old) and add an assistant teacher to
help with the older preschoolers (3-5 years old). As God blesses
us with the increase we need to be faithful in blessing Him back
by serving those that come. Contact Marci Lukehart at the
Preschool Check-In desk on Sunday mornings or call the church
office at 425-486-7103.

Sunday
Morning Service Opportunities:
Baristas - Our café manager is looking for some new
volunteer baristas. The café provides a great opportunity for
you to serve the church, our visitors, and to make many new
friends.
Creative Arts - Do you have musical talent? Do you have
technical skills? Can you help set up the stage? We'd like to
talk to you about being part of the worship team.
Greeters/Runners - Are you outgoing? Enjoy meeting new
people from the warmth of the indoors? If so, please contact
us about
greeting at the front door. This is an excellent way to
evangelize within the building.
Parking Lot - Are you a cold weather type with manual
dexterity who loves to wave at people early in the morning? If
so, we need you to greet cars as they arrive in the morning. So
many genuinely appreciate that first smile and hello in the
parking lot.
Ushers - men, women, youth! Ushers attend to the needs of
people during the church services. They help prepare the proper
atmosphere that is conducive to a genuine worship experience -
helpful to the pastor, congregation and the Lord. Ushers
welcome, seat worshippers, receive the offering and are
attentive to special needs that may arise.
“Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every
man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to
another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” 1
Peter 4:9-10If you desire to serve in any of these areas, please contact
the church office.
