Seniors Ministry - LIFERS
The Seniors at CrossPointe call ourselves LIFERS,
meaning:
Living
In
Full
EffectivenessA lifetime of
Christian service never ends. We rejoice with those who
celebrate special occasions. We grieve when sadness comes. We
have served in virtually every capacity; deacons, choir members,
ushers, kitchen workers, Sunday School and VBF teachers, workers
with MOPS (Mothers Of Preschoolers), and just about any service
needed. Even though our knees don't bend well to get down on
little one's level these days, we still serve in various ways.
We are active in visitation every Tuesday at 1:30, visiting
(especially) the shut-ins, those in hospitals or nursing homes.
In a sense, we take care of one another, giving help as needed.

We publish LIFELINES, a monthly newsletter
keeping all informed as to the "goings-on." We have regular
outings, Hymn Sing twice yearly, held
in Green Acres Mobile Home Park (also a ministry to those
residents), 4th of July picnic, Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas
party, etc. We decorate the bulletin board in the hallway each
month.
We are faithful prayer warriors, serving the
Lord in many ways!

LIFELINES, please contact Gladys Criss.
